Sanjay Dhawan is responsible for Network Products and Solutions Strategy within the Strategy and Commercial Management team at Ericsson North America. In this role, Sanjay is actively involved in the Strategy Development for Ericsson North America Network products and services portfolio, including 5G. He actively engages with Service Providers and industry players on topics related 5G and Network evolution. Prior to taking on this role, Sanjay was Head of 5G within Mobile Broadband Practice, where he actively engaged with Service Providers and Industry players in the U.S. and Canada in their evaluation of 5G. Previously, Sanjay held several roles at Ericsson in North America and globally. These included the CTO for Broadband and Media Customer Unit, where he supported U.S. regional wireless carriers, wireline and cable operators. Sanjay was also a member of the Sprint Customer Unit team, where as a Principal Solution Manager. Prior to working for Ericsson in North America, Sanjay held management and Technology positions in Asia Pacific, actively working with Service Providers across the region. Sanjay joined Ericsson in 1991 in the U.S., initially working with Research and Development as well as ANSI standardization. He has more than 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Sanjay has a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
