Chris Busch is the Co-Chair for Telecom Infra Project Open Converged Wireless program where he actively guides an industry group of vendors in an open source, disaggregated Wi-Fi solution. Formerly an Engineering Fellow of the CTO Networks organization at CommScope where he was responsible for guiding the direction of CommScope’s virtualization and orchestration technology in service of its CCAP (Converged Cable Access Platform) operator customers and their goals of DAAs (Distributed Access Architectures). Mr. Busch previously held leadership roles in product management for ARRIS Assurance Software Solutions and end-to-end Customer Network Solutions. He also served as Chief Technology Officer at Incognito Software, where he managed the direction of its technology innovation as well as its product investment and portfolio. Mr. Busch has taken an active leadership role in numerous industry positions over the last 20 years, including provisioning and activation standards at CableLabs, Broadband Forum, and TMForum. He’s also has spoken at several SCTE, CableLabs and TMForum events on a variety of industry topics including Wi-Fi management, IPv6 implementation, IPTV, Commercial Services, and OSS Orchestration. About Telecom Infra Project Open Converged Wireless The Open Converged Wireless project is a dedicated open-source community for the design, development & testing of converged wireless connectivity systems software for Wi-Fi, Switching and other wireless technologies. The project covers silicon partners, whitebox hardware, embedded network software & cloud native automation software that is well integrated, curated & tested.
