Brandyn Ward is currently a Substation Network Engineer for AEP. In this role he provides support and direction for various applications within the substation network. This includes assessing the needs and applying SCADA solutions, ensuring all IEDs within the substation can effectively communicate using various protocols, and help to ensure that communication solutions applied the network remain compliant to federal regulations. Brandyn has a BS in Electrical Engineering from the Ohio State University.
