Stephanie A. La Rue, Esq. is the founder and chair of the Latino Intelligence Network (LINK), a collective of Latino/Hispanic Employee Resource Groups across the intelligence community (IC). Stephanie currently serves as the Chief of the Strategy and Education Group in the Diversity and Inclusion Office (DIO) at the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).

In 2016, Stephanie served as chair of CIA’s Hispanic Advisory Council (HAC) where she established a relationship with the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanics. Under her leadership, the HAC was named “Top 25 Employee Resource Group of the Year” by Latina Style Magazine, Inc. During her tenure Stephanie also served as a member of the Director’s Advisory Group on Women in Leadership, and the Diversity in Leadership Study. For her contributions to the federal government Stephanie has received multiple Exceptional Performance Awards, Meritorious Unit Citations, and CIA’s most prestigious award for diversity and inclusion.

Stephanie conducts various workshops on executive presence, public speaking, and networking for organizations such as the Association of Latino Professionals for America, the Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement, Howard University School of Law, the University of Maryland, the Office of the Director for National Intelligence, the National Reconnaissance Office, and the Department of State. Most recently Stephanie was invited to present at the IC Women’s Leadership Summit where she addressed over 200 officers.

Stephanie graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Maryland, College Park with a B.A. in Governments and Politics. Stephanie is also a graduate of the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. Stephanie is admitted to the Bar in the State of Maryland where she lives with her husband and two sons.
