Curtis is a non-profit executive, educator, and trainer dedicated to the study of self-awareness and helping Latino professionals step deeper into their leadership potential. Since 2016, Curtis has overseen the flagship programs for the Latino Leadership Institute at the University of Denver, an organization that operates a Fellowship and Alumni Program for mid-career Latino professionals and emerging executives. As a subject matter expert, Curtis has studied emotional intelligence extensively and is a certified Insights Discovery® Practitioner. Prior to his 20-year career as an educator, Curtis was a professional journalist in Colorado and Northern California. A native Coloradan, Curtis earned a Bachelor of Science degree with honors from the University of Colorado Boulder and an MPA from the University of Colorado Denver.
