Michael Navarra has 20 years of experience in the Claim, Risk and Insurance Industries. Michael joined Midwest Gaming and Entertainment as a Risk Manager for the Des Plaines Rivers Casino location in 2011. He was a member of the “Opening Team”, responsible for creating and initiating all Risk, Safety and Insurance programs currently in place at Rivers Casino. He continues to manage the financial aspects of risk and safety matters as well as implement new Safety programs and internal auditing procedures, employ loss prevention/corrective actions for the benefit of the 1500 employees at Rivers. Michael is also responsible for litigation management and investigation coordination for the Rivers’ legal team in litigated matters, both WC and Civil.
