ADAM MESHBERG: Founder and Principal of Meshberg Group Quickly becoming one of the most influential shapers of Brooklyn’s new century, Adam is the founding Principal of the Meshberg Group, an award winning full-scope interior design and architecture firm in New York City working nationwide. Under Adam’s guidance, Meshberg Group has become well-known for its historic-meets-modern design in high-end custom interiors and exteriors for a variety of residential, commercial and mixed-use developments. Over the years, Adam has shaped his firm into a team of veterans in new construction, interior and exterior design, historic preservation and adaptive re-use, all under his ethos of innovative, yet responsible, long-term community impact. Prior to founding Meshberg Group, Adam worked for J.P. Franzen Associates, one of Connecticut’s top architectural firms, specializing in historical preservation. He also worked for the prestigious yacht design firm of Sparkman & Stephens and Andre Kikoski Architects. “Design is a narrative” – he says. A true storyteller, Adam takes a holistic approach to his process of “write before design.” Each project begins as a written exploration of culture, purpose-built intent and aesthetic and culminates in a carefully considered experience from the first turn of a custom door knob to a star gazing respite on a roof deck oasis. Adam received his Bachelor of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Architecture at the Rhode Island School of Design.
