Ms. Gibson has been in Operations management for over 25 years and is an expert in Call Center Operations, Process Improvement and Strategic and tactical planning. Kim has an MBA from the University of Phoenix Technology management and a Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Arizona University. During Kim’s 12 years at Centurylink (formerly Qwest Communications) she thrived on learning technical operations and was promoted 4 times during her tenure and reached a middle management position. Even while experiencing success, her sanity was constantly being tested in the call center environment. In 2003 Kim left CenturyLink to care for her newborn son Miles. After being at home with Miles for nearly a year, her inner operations voice began calling to Kim. She returned to the workforce in 2004 and started her career with Cable One. She has used her education and professional experiences to push cultural changes in call center operations resulting in operational efficiencies and optimal customer experiences. Kim is known at Cable One as the person to get things done and to have some laughs while doing it. She and her team of Directors and managers collaborate, push boundaries and innovate together to contribute to the vast success of Cable One. Kim is a member of Southwest WICT chapter and is a graduate of the Rising Leaders Program and The Betsy Magness Leadership Institute (class 34). Most recently Kim was a panelist for WICT Executive Leadership Series: Leading with Power and Authenticity. In her spare time Kim is also the ScoutMaster for Boy Scout Troop 263 in Buckeye, AZ.
