In his role as Vice President, Engineering and Operations, David leads Cox Communications’ engineering and technical operations for IP backbone, metro, voice, commercial business, and advanced network and services platforms. David’s team also leads Cox’s efforts in virtualizing network workloads on private and public clouds. David joined Cox Communications in 2008 as the Vice President of Network Operations and Field Services in Santa Barbara, CA where he was responsible for the market’s Field Services, Network Operations and Construction, Engineering, MTC and IT Operations. In August of 2009, he moved to Atlanta to lead technology efforts for the Field Operations Western Division. Prior to joining Cox, David worked for AT&T in various Engineering and Operations roles.
