Jill Trotta is an ASE Certified Technician/Advisor with over 25 years of experience in the industry. Jill started as a technician, and then transitioned to become a service advisor, service manager, parts director and eventually a shop owner. Her automotive work started in the ’90s with a broken Volkswagen Beetle and a degree in recreational therapy, and has developed into a long and successful career. Jill joined RepairPal in 2013 and played an integral role in the execution and evolution of the RepairPal Certified program. Jill and her team have evaluated over 6,000 independent repair facilities, growing the network from 120 shops in 2013 to over 2,500 high-quality shops today. Jill is a well-known face at industry events and is a thought leader in the field. In 2017, she was named Woman of Excellence by Women In Autocare, and is an active member of the organization. Most recently, she’s been recognized as the leading expert in the industry on price transparency. She has been featured in numerous publications, including the Remarkable Results Podcast, Ratchet&Wrench, PTen, Tire Review, Geico, Consumer Reports and CarsYeah!
