Pratik Das is Director, 5G Wireless R&D at Charter Communications where he explores synergies between the state-of-the-art in wireless access technologies, mobile-edge computing and Charter’s fixed network assets. Prior to joining Charter, he gained 13 years of experience with Ericsson spanning pre-sales towards tier-1 mobile operator and Silicon Valley accounts, product introduction, competitive trials, proof-of-concept tests, network design, optimization and maintenance. Pratik has a PhD in Electrical Engineering from The University of Newcastle, Australia, and BE in Information Engineering from Massey University, New Zealand.
