Ricardo (Richie) Cepeda is the Manager of Telecommunications Engineering at the Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA). He has 18 years of experience in Telecommunications Engineering in the utility space with experience in DWDM systems, SONET, Microwave (licensed/unlicensed), MPLS, and fiber systems. Through his tenure at LCRA, Richie has worked on initiatives ranging from designing the first DWDM system at LCRA to leading and building the first IP-centric Engineering team within LCRA. Richie currently manages the Engineering team responsible for the design and architecture of LCRA’s internal telecommunications network. Mr. Cepeda graduated from the University of Texas with a E.E. degree and is a registered P.E. in the state of Texas.
