Jared has spent the last 22 years in the AV industry. In Jared’s last roles at avt (previously AMX Australia) he was responsible for servicing the AV Consultant and Integration channel as well as the Education, Corporate and Government sectors in South Australia as Account Manager. Jared was also the Education Relationship Manager for Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania and in this capacity supported the Higher Education Sector across these states. Presently running the AV Engineering team at Deakin University, Jared is responsible for the AV infrastructure across the four campuses, corporate centres and external sites. It is this position which has led him to join the AETM where he is currently sitting as Treasurer. With a strong focus on sustainable standardisation Jared is leading the drive to move Deakin Universities entire AV infrastructure onto the enterprise network.
