Brian Gaylord is a Principal Analyst at Wood Mackenzie Power & Renewables, responsible for wind power markets in Latin America and Southern Europe. He joined the wind power team, formerly MAKE Consulting, in 2010. Mr. Gaylord has authored market reports and advisory projects with a special focus on supply chain, power auction dynamics and emerging markets. Previously, he was a renewable power market analyst at ICEX – the Trade Commission of Spain. He has spoken at events in Mexico, Brazil, Spain, Germany, Portugal and the United States. Mr. Gaylord has been quoted in leading business and renewables periodicals such as Business Week, The New York Times, Exame and Recharge. He received his degree from Indiana University where he studied marketing, political science and Spanish. He also possesses a degree in international trade management from the Centro de Estudios Economicos y Comericales. Brian works from Madrid, Spain.
