Dr. Ananyo Banerjee is a Principal Investigator at the Transportation Technology Center where he currently manages the rail research projects and provides support on other track related projects. He holds a PhD degree in Materials Engineering and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, both from Michigan Technological University. He has worked as a metallurgist in steel mills and the metal injection molding industry before joining TTCI in 2015. He is a member of the American Society for Metals and AREMA Committee 4- Rail.
