Bill is an Architect, Principal, and one of three Owners at MSA Design – a national architecture, interiors, and graphic design firm headquartered in Downtown Cincinnati. One of his key responsibilities is serving as Principal-In-Charge on signature commissions for the firm’s nationally renowned athletic design practice – MSA Sport. This includes clients such as FC Cincinnati of Major League Soccer, Xavier University, Centre College, The Ohio State University, Miami University, and the University of Cincinnati. Throughout his 25+ year career he has led teams on a variety of commercial, educational, civic, religious, and sport projects while practicing in the Southeast, Rocky Mountains, and the Midwest. Bill’s passion for community is evident in his involvement with numerous civic boards and organizations including the Cincinnati 2026 World Cup Local Organizing Committee, Cincinnati USA Sports Commission, YMCA of Greater Cincinnati, REDI Cincinnati, and the Ball State Department of Architecture Professional Advisory Board. He is a native of the small Central Ohio town of Sparta, 10+ year cancer survivor, and passionate about the obligation of architects to leave a lasting civic legacy on their community. Bill graduated with Honors from the Ball State College of Architecture and Planning (1995) and was a recipient of the 2021 Alumni Achievement Award by the University.
