A high school special education teacher for 19 years, Lisa Berghoff has worked with many students and families to create unique experiences and ensure all students are an authentic part of the school community. She has seen the possibilities that come with utilizing technology to help students learn in ways that were previously unimagined. She is in her 8th year as the Director of Instructional Technology at Highland Park High School and is thrilled to be able to share what she has learned about effectively utilizing technology with all students. Lisa is a Google Certified Innovator, Trainer, and Coach and selected as coach for the LON19 cohort. In addition, she is a certified Pear Deck coach and Schoology Ambassador. A presenter who provides professional development for teachers in the Chicago area, Lisa was the recipient of the 2019 ISTE Making It Happen Award and a former IDEA board member .
