Mr. Daly is technical lead for DNV GL’s accredited wind turbine testing department and responsible for ensuring quality and value in power performance testing. Mr. Daly has eight years’ experience in wind turbine testing and has managed numerous power performance testing projects, as well as other accredited tests including acoustic noise testing. His experience includes design, procurement, and installation of power testing and meteorological systems, and instrumentation for wind turbine power curve testing; data analysis and reporting; and experience testing turbines with lidar and REWS analysis. Mr. Daly also pursues data science applications for improved modeling of power curves. Mr. Daly holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
