His deep-rooted understanding of Shaw’s footprint stems from the broad range of he has held at the organization, including Regional Manager, Regional Technical Manager, Operations Manager and Director of National Planning. Derek’s passion for technology and workflow efficiencies aligns with his current portfolio, which includes modernization programs for Field Operations within Shaw's Infrastructure and Operations team. Derek considers his work with Shaw’s talented Field Operations employees to improve the customer experience the highlight of his career. As a respected speaker and thought-leader, Derek is interested in the modernization narrative and learning about his peers’ activities around new technologies and industry transformation.
