Shan Zong




Shan specializes in attraction economics and real estate analysis and is the Chinese country manager for Pro Forma Advisors. She has conducted market driven analyses such as market research, demand modeling, competitive analysis, and economic master planning to evaluate potential opportunities for a variety of recreation land use types, such as theme parks, waterparks, and resorts. In China, Shan has worked directly with such groups as Riverside Group, Huayi Brothers, Shimao, CCTV (China Central Television), Triple Five Ventures, and Wanda. Shan has a public policy background, and began her career at Beacon Economics, where she helped provide quantitative and qualitative economic analysis for clients to make informed decisions about investment, growth, revenue and policy. Shan is a CFA Level II candidate. Shan obtained her Masters in Public Policy and Real Estate at the University of Southern California, and was awarded the Robert P. Biller Award with excellence. She obtained her Bachelor of Economics at Shanghai Ocean University with aconcentration in Finance. She speaks fluent Mandarin.
