Alfred Benesch & Company
Jordan Card is a structural engineer specializing in railroad structural design and construction. He a member of the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association (AREMA) and currently serves on AREMA Committee 8 – Concrete Structures and Foundations. Jordan started at Alfred Benesch & Company (Benesch) as a Project Engineer and has taken on positions of increased responsibility. He currently serves as a Group Manager in Benesch’s Railroad Division. Prior to joining Benesch, Jordan also gained experience in building structures, geotechnical engineering and construction management, which brings broader industry perspective to his projects. Jordan has a national practice and has been involved in railroad projects in over 25 states. He currently represents Class I Railroads in the structural design, review and owner representation of complex railroad infrastructure projects. He also advises on major public infrastructure projects that interact with railroad elements. Jordan has a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois and Tennessee and a licensed Structural Engineer in Illinois.
