Dr. Monica Vialpando is a pharmaceutical development scientist and founded Vialpando, LLC, a provider of industry-leading formulation and product development services for global cannabis companies. She is an adjunct professor at Loyalist College, Canada and listed as 'Top 100 Healthcare Leaders' from the International Forum on Advancements in Healthcare (IFAH). In 2019, Monica received the ElSohly Award for 'Excellence in Cannabis Chemistry' from CANN, a subdivision of the American Chemical Society. She earned her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Leuven, Belgium. There, she published several papers on formulation of poorly water soluble drugs, including a granted patent. Beyond this, she brings seven years of pharmaceutical formulation experience with US and European-based companies and four years of vaping research and development with nicotine and cannabis.
