Sara oversees What to Expect’s online community & social media operations focusing on creating innovative audience development and sponsor campaigns. Alongside What to Expect Creator, Heidi Murkoff, Sara launched WTE’s online community in 2006; when mommy groups, social media and influencers were just emerging. She’s created evolving platforms for moms to connect in safe, supportive and fun ways. She oversees a team of community managers and has had the pleasure of collaborating with community moms across the world. Sara brings real mom stories to life through editorial content and brand initiatives like the What to Expect Awards and #BumpDay. She’s worked with top organizations and advertisers to offer moms tools and resources that make a positive impact on their pregnancy and parenting journey. She believes that online communities thrive where there’s a passionate team and meaningful brand presence. Sara is the mom of two freckle-faced cuties and New England native currently living in Jacksonville, Florida.
