Eduardo Provencio joined Mary's Medicinals, LLC, Mary’s Nutritionals, LLC, and MM Technology Holdings, LLC (“Mary’s”) as its General Counsel in April of 2016 after spending the previous seven years in private practice in New Mexico and Colorado. As General Counsel, Mr. Provencio oversees all legal matters related to the Mary’s Medicinals, Mary’s Nutritionals, Mary’s Whole Pet lines of cannabis and hemp-derived products, as well as handling all internal legal operations for MM Technology Holdings, LLC and its affiliated companies.Before joining Mary’s team, Mr. Provencio was an attorney in the Colorado office of Fredericks Peebles & Patterson, LLP (FPP), the nation’s largest Indian law firm. While at FPP, Mr. Provencio counseled Indian tribes and tribal entities on economic development opportunities, internal governance, and tribal sovereignty issues, as well as federal regulatory compliance matters. Mr. Provencio specialized in natural resources and Indian reserved water rights, representing clients in tribal, state, and federal court as well as serving as an expert and speaker on Indian water law issues. Since joining Mary’s, Mr. Provencio has been a speaker on hemp and marijuana-related matters across the country.
