Fleesie A. Hubbard is a public health professional with more than 15 years of experience in clinical research and community engagement. Her diverse portfolio in academia includes management of specialty research including novice drug therapy trials, investigational new device studies, and behavioral health interventions. Driven by a desire to further public understanding of cannabis therapeutics, in 2016, Fleesie founded FiveTen Wellness, a holistic health organization focused on cannabis education, advancing clinical research and building community partnerships. Her professional memberships include Americans for Safe Access, the Minority Cannabis Business Association and Women Grow. Fleesie aims to progressively impact discovery-based medicine practices through global advocacy for cannabis therapeutics in combination with personalized medicine tools and integrated care methods. She has visited nearly 40 countries and has coordinated medical humanitarian missions in Fiji, Vietnam and Uganda. At home and abroad, she is passionate about contributing to culturally-diverse, patient-centered, sustainable community health programming.
