George Goncalves Business Development Director Applied Optoelectronics Inc. (AOI) George is responsible for growing AOI’s Remote PHY business into Distributed Access Architectures (DAA) worldwide. He has worked at AOI since January of this year, and has worked for companies like Cisco, Emcore, JDS Uniphase, and C-COR in various Business Development, Marketing and Product Management roles. George got his start in the Telecommunications industry about 25 years ago and holds a BS in Electrical Engineering degree from Hofstra University, and an MBA in Technical Marketing from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
