Nancy Murphy is the Executive Director, Learning Workforce Capability for Cox Communications a $12B privately owned subsidiary of Cox Enterprises providing high speed internet, digital cable television, and Home Automation services to 6M+ customers through 18,000+ employees. Nancy has responsibility for learning strategy, curriculum development and strategic implementation for job specific training programs and initiatives for Customer Support as well as Field and Technical Operations. Throughout her 17-year career with Cox she has built a reputation for her vision and ability to construct and facilitate high performing teams, drive measurable results, increase employee capabilities and transform business outcomes which lead to long-term solutions and success. In addition, she has contributed to several business transformations, culture change initiatives, and multi-disciplinary team management strategies. Nancy’s background includes working in various Fortune 500 Companies including Health Care, Hospitality, Manufacturing and Telecommunications. Her experience includes multiple disciplines including; recruitment, training, employee relations, leadership and organizational development. Her educational background includes a BA in Communication and Master’s in Organizational Leadership. She is an active member of Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) and SCTE-ISBE and resides in Atlanta, GA.
