Debbie Mursch is the Director Strategy and Business Development at GE Renewable Energy - Hydro. She has over 30 years of experience in the power industry, in operations, engineering, business development and mergers and acquisitions. Currently she is an (NHA) board member as well as the NHA Vice President and the past NHA Treasurer. For several years, she was first Vice Chair and then Chairman of the NHA Pumped Storage Development Council. She was also a member of the Senior Peer Review Group for DOE’s Hydropower Vision. In 2015, she was named one of the most influential people in the Hydro Industry by Water Power and Dam Construction. In 2016, she was one of ten women honored by Pennwell at Hydrovision International, for making significant contributions to hydropower. Debbie received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, WI and an MBA from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA.
