Dr. Burke is responsible for all managed care and clinical services for the workers compensation line at AmTrust. She develops, manages and implements all medical, nursing, pharmacy and ancillary benefit management strategies. Prior to AmTrust, Burke was the National Pharmacy Director and 2VP of Workers Compensation Medical and Pharmacy strategies at Travelers. Preceding Travelers, Burke was the pharmacy director for Sisters of Providence Health System, a multi-location Massachusetts Health System with a dual role as the Corporate Liaison to the GPO for CHE Trinity Health’s greater 82 hospital health system. She had responsibility for clinical and operational pharmacy services the 180 bed acute care hospital, 100 bed behavioral health hospital, two methadone clinics, 22 chair outpatient oncology center, acute residential psychiatry program and retail pharmacy. Dr. Burke also provided oversight to hospital clinical dieticians and pharmacy services in the continuing care network. Before Sisters, Burke was the clinical pharmacy manager at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City, a 900 bed teaching hospital. This role included oversight of the accredited pharmacy residency program.
