Kevin Johnson

Kevin Johnson began his career in 1981 working as a Technical Design Associate at Stone & Webster Engineering Corporation and later joined Philadelphia Electric in their Relay and Apparatus Testing Section working at both Peach Bottom and Limerick nuclear power plants. In, 1985 he joined the Aerospace & Defense division of Hercules Chemical, Inc. working as a Project Manager on military avionics projects and later became Manager of Marketing Communications. After leaving Hercules, Kevin worked at several AEC (Architectural, Engineering & Construction) professional consulting firms where he led business development and marketing efforts. Prior to joining Ampirical in Jan of 2019, Kevin spent the past sixteen years as V.P. of Corporate Business Development for a leading RTU and instrument manufacturer serving the electrical utility industry. Kevin currently serves as Director of Business Development for both Ampirical Solutions, LLC & Cybirical, LLC providing professional engineering and cybersecurity services to the electric utility industry. During his nearly 40 years of utility related experience, Kevin has been instrumental in creating value and delivering strategic business solutions to a wide range of clients including electrical utilities, process manufacturing, and public and private sector organizations. He has held Senior Staff and Executive Management positions with OEM Manufacturers, Professional Services Firms and been a member of or held committee positions with economic development and industry related organizations. Mr. Johnson holds a degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Penn State and Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Kings College, graduating Summa cum laude. Kevin is a native of Pennsylvania and now resides in Orlando, Florida with his wife of thirty-eight years.
