Taylor joined DNV GL in 2004. Since then he has focused on advancing the state-of-art and accuracy of wind and solar energy production assessments. In his current role as Head of Section – Mergers & Acquisitions, he ensures DNV GL can provide innovative solutions and opportunities for our customers to optimize the valuation of assets. Taylor is a US delegate on the IEC 61400-15: Assessment of Wind Resource, Energy Yield, and Site Suitability committee and the Organizer of the Power Curve Working Group. Taylor received Bachelor’s degrees in both Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science Engineering from U.C. Berkeley, a bachelor’s in Philosophy from U.C. Santa Cruz, and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Renewable Energy Research Lab at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He has 4 kids aged 7 year to 13 years old and spends what free time he has brewing his own beer, running, and playing music.
