Timothy Beekman was the founder of Dynacom, Inc., and partner/owner of the former SAFARI Technologies, Inc. He holds a BSEE from Western Michigan University and First Class Broadcast License, was “Fellow of the Decade” by Ball State University (BSU), and served as Director of Technology for Grand Rapids Public Schools. Tim has pioneered the integration of video technology in classrooms through projects like AT&T School of the Future and “Campus of the Future” at BSU. Under his leadership, SAFARI Montage has grown to be an industry leader in Educational Video Integration Technologies. Tim serves on IMS Global Board of Directors, and has been a leading advocate for the adoption of IMS interoperability standards in K-12.
