I started DKOR with the goal of building an interior design firm that looked different than the ones popping up around me. I wanted to offer clients a service that puts understanding and service at the core—and delivers good design as well. We wouldn’t force a client into a design, color palette, or even a pillow they didn’t love or couldn’t envision in their home. It’s part of an empathy-driven design process that allows our clients to make the most of their spaces and live better lives. Almost 15 years later, DKOR has grown, through curiosity and passion, from a small endeavor to a world-class interior design firm with nearly 20 employees working in four countries and with clients all around the globe. But I’m still a DKORista at heart! I get excited to begin each new project, to see the look on our clients’ faces during the “big reveal” moment, and for everything in between.
