Vincencio Maya has a degree in Industrial Engineering and Electrical Engineering. He has held this position since 2018. Prior to that, he held the Latam CTO for fix business over 10 years. In Vincencio’s last role he completed a massive roll out of a fixed residential network in seven countries (5MM Hp’s HFC/Fiber in 3 years) where Millicom previously only operated its mobile networks. He also launched Millicom’s DTH platform across five countries in Latam in 2014. He played a key role in the due diligence process of Millicom’s acquisition efforts in Latin America as well as a technical advisor to the Millicom senior leadership team. Vincencio was responsible for defining Millicom’s next generation digital TV platform, RPHY Architecture and CPE WIFI specifications across all countries in LATAM that Millicom serves.
