Khurshid Khoja is CEO and founder of Greenbridge Corporate Counsel, P.C., a California based business law firm he founded in 2012, which represents clientele from across numerous sectors in the legal cannabis industry, on regulatory, start‐ up, corporate, intellectual property, finance, and other commercial and transactional matters. Khurshid has participated in legislative and initiative drafting, stakeholder meetings, executive agency outreach and rulemaking proceedings in connection with California’s Medical and Adult Use Cannabis Regulation and Safety Act, and in the drafting of investor-facing provisions on ownership in both Prop 64 (the Adult Use of Marijuana Act) and state regulations implementing MAUCRSA. Khurshid currently serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of the National Cannabis Industry Association, serves as co-chair of NCIA’s Policy Council, and is outside general counsel to Students for Sensible Drug Policy. He has previously served on the Board and Policy Committee of the Minority Cannabis Business Association, California State Treasurer John Chiang’s Cannabis Banking Working Group, as a Founding Board member and General Counsel of the California Cannabis Industry Association, as a co-founder and General Counsel to the Emerald Growers Association (later the California Growers Association), and as a company mentor and member of the Selection Committee for the Arcview Investor Network. Khurshid has been a featured presenter on cannabis law and regulation at numerous professional conferences organized by the California Minority Counsel Program, the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association, the Cannabis Entrepreneurship Academy at the University of Colorado Law School at Boulder, California NORML, Cardozo School of Law, International Cannabis Bar Association, the National Cannabis Industry Association, Marijuana Business Daily, Students for Sensible Drug Policy, and the Arcview Investor Forum, among others.
