Corey B. Collins is associate general counsel at MasTec, Inc., a minority-controlled business enterprise with more than 22,000 employees. MasTec is a specialty infrastructure contractor with an international footprint based in Coral Gables, Florida. As associate general counsel, Corey negotiates complex construction contracts and manages litigation for MasTec and its subsidiaries based in the United States and Canada. Prior to his current role, Mr. Collins worked as in house counsel for Biltmore Villas, Inc., a developer of residential properties in Miami, Florida. In that role, he was responsible for managing all legal matters and providing guidance on a wide array of corporate governance and policy issues. Before joining Biltmore Villas, Mr. Collins worked as an attorney in the Miami office of Carlton Fields Jorden Burt, P.A., where he specialized in commercial and construction litigation. Before joining Carlton Fields, Mr. Collins worked as an attorney in the Fort Lauderdale office of Ruden, McClosky, Smith, Schuster & Russell, P.A., where he specialized in construction litigation. Mr. Collins is a member of the board of directors of two non-profit corporations, the St. John Community Development Corporation and the James B. Collins Memorial Fund, Inc. (""Memorial Fund""). He is the chairman of the board of the Memorial Fund.
