Dr. Iván Fernández Martínez is a Physicist with a PhD from the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) where he worked for 11 years. His research interest concern the magnetron sputtering deposition and characterization of coatings for different applications, such as magnetic, optical, superconductor, photovoltaic or hard metal nitrides coatings. Now he is co-founder, managing director of both Nano4Energy SL and hipV AB. He has 17 years in the scientific and industry sector working in sputtering thin film deposition and its physics, and particularly, in HiPIMS.
