BRUCE WADDELL
Senior Consultant
Lockard & White, Inc.

Bruce has been providing technology solutions for over 30 years supporting a broad range of industries including government, healthcare, manufacturing, oil and gas, and utilities. He began his career as a programmer analyst with the County of El Paso Texas where he supported the courts and law enforcement systems. He then moved to Johnson and Johnson to bring computer aided production management to five manufacturing facilities in Mexico where he learned that reliable communications are imperative to successful operation. Bruce then started a company that built over 200 private microwaves into Mexico to support US manufacturers voice and data needs bypassing the then unreliable Telmex services. The next step was to join Shell to build numerous billion-dollar offshore oil drilling and production platforms integrating voice, video and data for automation, video surveillance, radio communications services, radar systems, and the myriad of other services required to operate a small city in the middle of the ocean. From there Bruce took his skills to BP where he was the Global Field Digital Infrastructure Manager supporting field automation and communications systems for BP's exploration and production division. Today Bruce works as a senior consultant with Lockard and White and is currently supporting Dairyland Power Cooperative in the engineering, procurement and installation of the largest Motorola DMR-III system deployed to date.
