Andrew Wills leads federal affairs for Invenergy LLC, one of the nation's leading clean energy companies that develops, owns, and operates power generation and energy storage facilities in North America and Europe. Prior to joining Invenergy, Andrew was Government Relations Director and Counsel for the American Public Power Association (APPA) where he lobbied on electric vehicles, drones, telecommunications issues, pole attachments, and energy efficiency. While at APPA, he also coordinated APPA's participation in various legal proceedings, including those at the FCC, FAA, and other relevant federal agencies. Before joining APPA, Andrew worked as Counsel to NERC on corporate and regulatory issues, as a law clerk at Georgia Transmission Corporation, and as a summer associate at the Washington, D.C. energy law firm, Duncan, Weinberg, Genzer & Pembroke. Andrew received his Bachelors degree from the University of Georgia in 2011 and his juris doctorate degree from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2014.
