Amber was born in Oregon and has lived in Pennsylvania, Washington, Russia, and Texas. Homeschooled for much of her education, she had ample opportunities to read a wide variety of books. She has taught English overseas and currently teaches fourth grade. She loves making up stories and has finally gotten around to writing them down.
