An Arizona State alumnus, Scott Crowell, of Crowell Law Office – Tribal Advocacy Group LLP, has practiced extensively in the area of Indian law since the late 1980s. With rare exception, he represents tribal governments exclusively. He has been extensively involved in Indian gaming issues in several states and on national issues. He has served as lead litigation counsel in several lawsuits involving the interpretation and application of IGRA. He has also served as lead negotiation counsel in the successful negotiation of numerous tribal-state compacts in several states. Through this broad base of experience, Mr. Crowell is able to share his expertise in similar problems that have been addressed in different compact and regulatory structures in different states.
