John Holobinko leads strategy for Cisco Systems’ Cable Access products spanning optical, Ethernet and RF technologies. As a fiber optics pioneer in the 1980’s he cofounded American Lightwave Systems, developing the first digital fiber rings for the cable industry. Prior to Cisco, he was VP of Network Strategy for Motorola Mobility, responsible for new technology and opportunity evaluation.
