Principal Mechanical Engineer, has over 35 years of experience in hydro mechanical equipment. His work has covered the assembly and commissioning of most of the major mechanical machinery, including intake gates, spillway gates, hoists and cranes, turbines, generators and most of their ancillary equipment. In the last 20 years, Danny has developed expertise in new turbine development and existing turbine overhaul/upgrade. He joined BC Hydro in 2004. He actively contributes to external technical organizations by sharing his expertise and is presently Convener for the Joint Working Group ISO/IEC (JWG1) working on turbine vibrations Standard update.
