Darren is a retired Phoenix police sergeant, director of the Silent Witness Program, Child Crimes supervisor, Homicide night detective sergeant, Adult Sex Crimes detective at the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, and U.S. Army Military Intelligence officer. Some of his awards include: Medal of Lifesaving, Army Commendation Medal, Arizona Attorney General’s Office Investigator of the Year, Phoenix Police Department Detective of the Year, and more than 100 written commendations. He hosts the national radio show “Badge Boys” and is the author of Twisted But True.
