Dr. Ralf Fellenberg received his PhD from the University Leipzig in 1983. He worked for the Institute of Solid State Physics and Electron Microscopy in the group on interfaces and analytics from1983 to 1991. Since 1991 he has been at VDI Technologiezentrum GmbH Duesseldorf, the Funding agency for the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research. He is a Senior Consultant on projects focusing on materials science, nanotechnology, surface engineering, thin films, electrochemistry, and electronics.
