Paul Makovsky is editor in chief of Contract magazine—a New York-based print and web publication that covers architecture and design from the inside out. As a writer, editor, curator and strategist, he has written at length about architecture, design and culture, and he has curated many exhibitions on such topics as Canadian design and architecture; contemporary Norwegian design; and a history of Knoll textiles.
