Laura C. Abrahamson, Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Global Head of Litigation at AECOM, has a wealth of experience in complex international litigation and arbitration matters, including ICSID, UNCITRAL, ICC and LCIA arbitrations. Before joining AECOM in January of 2016, Ms. Abrahamson was in-house counsel for Occidental Petroleum in Los Angeles for almost twenty years, most recently as Associate General Counsel – Litigation. Ms. Abrahamson also spent time in private practice at O’Melveny & Myers from 2014 to 2016 and at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher from 1987 to 1994. Ms. Abrahamson is also a member of the Court of Arbitration for Sport, and served as chair of an AAA administered arbitration in 2017.
