Licensed civil engineer and geologist in the State of Washington. Started engineering career at the Bureau of Reclamation in Denver as a graduate research student, followed by 8 years with consultating firms performing work ranging from Superfund site characterizations to dam design. Joined Seattle City Light in mid-1997 to balance life and return to multi-faceted work challenges associated with maintaining hydroelectric infrastructure projects and environmental stewardship.
