As an expert in government affairs, public policy, and political matters, Mr. Healy provides a breadth of services including assistance in navigating state and federal government agencies, as well as aiding in advocacy, strategy, and planning that lead to successful outcomes for a diverse group of clients which has included MasterCard, the Kansas Bioscience Authority, the Rosebud Economic Development Corporation, the Rosebud Sioux Tribe, the International Union Painters and Allied Trade District Council 82 of North Dakota, South Dakota, and Minnesota, Ho-Chunk, Inc. (owned by the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska), and the Levin Papantonio Law Firm (Pensacola, Florida), a national plaintiff’s trial attorney practice. Healy is a former Executive Director of the South Dakota Democratic Party and senior staff member to former Senator Tim Johnson of South Dakota. At the nexus of Johnson’s 2002 election effort, Healy is credited with implementing a native vote program that resulted in a ninety-four percent of the vote win among the Oglala Sioux and Rosebud Sioux, South Dakota's biggest tribes, cementing Johnson’s 524 vote victory over current Senator John Thune and Johnson’s return to the United States Senate. Healy is the Chief Operating Officer for Four Directions Native Vote. He assisted Barb and OJ Semans in establishing Four Directions in 2003. Since that time, Healy’s work in Indian Country has included critical elections in Arizona, Nevada, Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota, Montana, North Carolina, and, in 2020-2021, Georgia. Healy has also been engaged on a pro bono basis as a voting expert in voting rights cases brought in Montana, Nevada, and Arizona. Healy has represented various clients and implemented special projects in Arizona, Florida, Texas, Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, Tennessee, and California.
