TORRANCE, CA – Patlite introduces its new Ethernet LED Signal Tower series, a collaboration with Cimtechniques. The Ethernet connected signal towers allow users to conveniently integrate them into their facilities’ existing LAN infrastructure. By leveraging the common Ethernet conduit it can also be used as a medium to transmit commands to signal towers and minimize the cost of network installation compared to traditional installation. PATLITE’s new Ethernet Signal Tower series supports communications protocols that are both easy to implement in any programming environment and provide incredible value to any business.
The signal towers are available in two of PATLITE’s existing signal tower models, LU7 and LME, and are fully programmable on corporate IT standard 10/100 Base-T/TX Ethernet connections with an embedded web server. Other specifications include:
- Uses Existing LAN infrastructure
- Can be controlled using simple ASCII commands or popular Modbus TCP/IP protocol
- Supports PoE (Power over Ethernet) or from a local DC24V source
- Bright, long lasting LED technology for maintenance-free operation
- Optional alarm modules (100dB Loud Buzzer or MP3 supported Voice/Alarm Sounder)
- Standard RJ-45 Ethernet cable provided (24”)
